Drives of the Wild

I've been living in the city for almost four years now. I love the hustle and bustle of living in the centre and I'm never short of anything to do or places to go. However, having grown up in a village in Cheshire I'll always be a country girl at heart. I just love the freshness and beauty of nature and the landscapes that emerge whilst driving through the peak district are to die for. So when I got the opportunity to take a little trip home for a long weekend I packed a suitcase and headed straight to the train station.

Whilst at home my brother and I shot a lot of images throughout the weekend, many of which were on a drive we took with our parents through the the Peak District National Park. There are so many cute villages along the winding roads and separating them are miles and miles of beautiful natural structures such as underground caves, deep valleys and vast landscapes. So here are a few of the shots I took along with a couple taken by my brother *.
